Finding and adding organisations

 

 

Find an Organisation

  1. Select Organisations (Address Book) from the Tools menu.
  2. In the Search field, enter part of the organisations name or a service type.
  3. Select the correct Organisation from the search results list and press [OK].


Add a new Organisation

  1. Press the [New] button.
  2. Enter the Organisation name and name of a contact person or department.
  3. Enter contact information as prompted.

At the top of the Settings tab, nominate the Organisation type:

  • Health care provider  a hospital or specialist. When this is ticked, you have access to the Services tab.
  • Account holder  anyone you deal with on a financial basis. When this is ticked, you have access to the Business tab.
  • Our practice  an internal organisation within our practice. If this is ticked, extra fields for storing information are shown.

  • Store any extra details in the Settings tab.
  • In the Services tab, list the services that this business provides so that this business will appear in the search results when you search those services.
  • In the Business tab, fill in the appropriate details.
  • In the Organisation Types box at the right hand side, tick any groups or categories that this Business belongs to. You do not have to tick something. 
    Note: It is important that any relevant categories are ticked. If they have not been ticked, when a service is charged that requires you to nominate an organisation or this type, this particular business will not appear in the list for you to choose from.
